Starting a Non-Profit to Help Aspiring USACO Participants

Our Mission:
The goal of this initiative is to help students take their first steps in competitive programming, specifically in the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO). In this inaugural year, our focus will be on supporting participants to successfully pass the Bronze division.

Why This Matters:
Competitive programming can seem intimidating to beginners, but with the right guidance and support, anyone can succeed. This organization aims to provide structured lessons, mentorship, and a community where learners feel empowered to grow their skills.

Who’s Behind This?
Right now, it’s just me, and that’s why I’m reaching out! If you share my passion for teaching and want to help others succeed in USACO, I’d love for you to join the team. Interested mentors or volunteers can email me at darinmajia@gmail.com. Let’s work together to make a difference!

Who Can Join?
This program is for anyone who wants to get started with USACO but feels stuck, lost, or unsure of how to proceed. Whether you’re brand new to programming or just need advice and direction, you’re welcome to join.

When and Where?

  • Lessons: Weekly sessions on weekends (PST timezone). Planning to start in January.
  • Office Hours: Additional sessions may be organized based on demand and availability.

Stay tuned for specific times and schedules!

Join Us:
Whether you’re a learner ready to tackle USACO or someone eager to mentor, we’re excited to have you onboard. Let’s build a supportive community and make this journey rewarding for everyone!
