Problem Solving

Hello Everyone,

I find that when I start solving a problem, I get hyper-focused on the solution I first come up with and fail to see other solution and I have to stop coding for a day and come back to the problem in order to come up with a solution. Anyone know how to get over this problem?

Perhaps set a timer- maybe 30 minutes, an hour, whatever works for you. When that timer stops, I’d suggest taking a break (going for a walk, etc.)
I’ve rarely had this problem, so I don’t know if this method 100% works, but it’s worth a shot!
