I did very well on the previous contest and got promoted to Silver. However, trying silver questions was like hitting a brick wall after a running start. Did you all have this experience? How did you deal with this?

Yeah LOL, I had that same experience. You just gotta practice, man. That’s all I can tell you (only way to get good).
It’s probably the most cliché thing to say, but I agree. Good practice is the only way to improve, and USACO.guide is a pretty good source!
